Stratford: A Rancho Santa Fe Neighborhood with a Style of Its Own

While a good percentage of the affluent and highly coveted real estate in Rancho Santa Fe is designed around Spanish Mediterranean and Country Estate architecture, Stratford in Rancho Santa Fe is an entity unto itself. This gated community in the 92130 zip code of Rancho Santa Fe is done in French Country and English Tudor and there are five unique floor plans to choose from.

Stratford was developed, for the most part, in the mid 1980’s but some of these country homes were completed in 1988-89. This community especially draws singles and young couples but there is also an assortment of retired persons as well. The five plans range between 2600 and 3400 sq. ft. and there is an association fee which covers grounds maintenance to the front of each property, exercise room and spa as well as upkeep on the community pool. As a matter of fact, some of the properties are just across the street from the club.
