Whispering Palms in the Heart of Old Rancho Santa Fe

As part of the original 8,824 acre land grant to Don Juan Osuna, Whispering Palms enjoys the prestige of being one of the older planned developments within Rancho Santa Fe. First subdivided and developed in the early 1960’s by renowned California developer Richard Cavanaugh, the community is centered on the recently renovated Morgan Run Resort and Club which features golf and tennis and of course, restaurant facilities.

Whispering Palms is actually one of Rancho Santa Fe’s earliest golf communities which enjoys open access with only a small area being gated, the section called Alacala which is a high-end condominium community. Students in Whispering Palms have the option of attending either Solana Santa Fe Elementary or Solana Vista Elementary while high school students also have the option of attending either the acclaimed Torrey Pines High School or the San Dieguito Academy. Middle school students all attend Earl Warren Middle School unless enrolled in one of the nearby private schools.

The Morgan Run Resort and Club is the heart of activity in this golf community which features a 27 hole course that is semi private.
